Dr. Ken Thong, an esteemed endocrinologist, was given a heartfelt farewell by our staff in Parmelia on Tuesday, 17th December, after 11 years of dedicated service to our clients at Moorditj Koort.
Throughout his career, Dr. Thong has made significant contributions to the field of endocrinology, publishing numerous papers on innovative treatments for type 2 diabetes and presenting his pioneering research at international conferences.
Dr. Thong has also served as a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia, presenting his expertise to the next generation of medical professionals. His commitment to improving healthcare access for Indigenous communities is reflected in his long-standing involvement with Moorditj Koort’s Endocrinology Clinic, where he has worked tirelessly to support our clients for over a decade.
